With Fair Stone BASIC, we have relied exclusively on audits by accredited, trained, and independent auditors since 2018 to verify annual compliance with the minimum criteria and support the step -by -step process.
Fair Stone BASIC is intended as an introduction to the WiN = WiN Fair Stone certification. Annual audits with incremental requirements prepare the suppliers for the Full Scope Audit/FSA. It allows Fair Stone partners to conduct an immediate third -party audit at the same time as registering their supply chain. The audits are valid for only one year.
Additional certificates bearing the FS BASIC logo also indicate the status of the supply chain (Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4). If an audit is failed, the use of the logo will be blocked via our traceability platform TFS2. The auditors, trained and accredited by Fair Stone, have extensive experience in auditing social standards. They operate independently of Fair Stone. After a maximum of 48 months, the full WiN=WiN Fair Stone audit becomes mandatory for continued cooperation. The Fair Stone Standard is fully reviewed (=Full Scope Audit/FSA ). Fair Stone collaborates with TÜV Rheinland, QS Zurich, Paradigm Shift, LRQA and others. The adapted requirements of the Fair Stone BASIC certification include minimum criteria such as:
Winlon Tsui is a manager at TÜV Rheinland in Hong Kong. He has been working in the Systems Auditing Department since 2000 and has served as audit lead there since 2001. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry. He conducts audits for various standards and certifies according to ISO9001 (Quality Management), ISO14001 (Environmental Management), SA8000 (Social Responsibility), and BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), among others.
Winlon Tsui speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. He lives in Hong Kong, China.
Alma Xu has been working as an auditor for TÜV Rheinland (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. since 2014. Since the beginning of her professional career, she has conducted more than 200 different audits, including those under the SMETA standard and the Jarden Code of Conduct. During her career, Ms. Xu has gained experience and provided audit services in numerous industries (textiles, hardware, cosmetics, footwear, toys, ceramics, etc.).

Jason Li has been working for TÜV Rheinland (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. since 2014, where he serves as a Senior Quality Engineer and CSR Senior Auditor. Since the beginning of his career, he has conducted more than 350 audits, including those based on standards such as ISO 9000, SA8000, BSCI, IRCA, and others. During his career, Mr. Li has gained experience in numerous industries and provided audit services (textiles, hardware, cosmetics, footwear, toys, ceramics, etc.).
